General Electric (GE) Parts

      Quick Find:

General Electric is best known in the appliance industry for the Washer and Dryers that they make - but they also manufacture appliances in other verticals.

General Electric Oven and Stove Parts

We have GE Range, GE Stove Parts and GE Oven parts and we probably have exactly what you are looking for.

Many of our visitors need a new bake heating element for their GE ovens.  The bake heating element usually has  screw-on terminals.

Hint:  In electric ovens the bake element cycles on and off as needed to maintain an accurate baking temperature. You can see that the bake element is working because of the red glow it gives off. The broil element too, (in most models) is also on, but it does not glow red.

General Electric Washing Machine Parts

If a GE washer agitates but does not fill, it is most likely a water level pressure switch not working. Try resetting switch and try to fill the washing machine. You can also put the timer in spin cycle, close lid, and spin for at least 2 minutes.

Try to fill again. If these suggestions do not work - you may need a new water level pressure switch - CLICK HERE

GE Dryer Parts

The automatic dry control feature, on GE dryers, is designed to help prevent clothes from overdrying. Overdrying may reduce the life of the fabric.

To avoid overdrying, the automatic dry feature helps determine the amount of time necessary to dry a load of clothes. By continually sensing the temperatures of the air in the dryer drum, the thermostat controls the heat source (heater coils or gas valve) and the advancement of the dryer timer.

If your automatic dry feature is not working - chances are, you will need a new GE Dryer Thermostat

GE Dishwasher Parts

A common problem with GE Dishwashers is that the timer does not advance.  In most cases, this is because there is some gook between the timer dial and the control panel.

This problem can be solved by gently pulling the knob away from the control panel and cleaning behind the knob with a damp cloth. Do not use excessive force because the knob is attached to the control panel on models affected by this problem.

If your timer is broken - you can a get a new one easily - GE Dishwasher Timer
